Todd's Kiss

The moon broke through the clouds, and the four of them stood there, frozen, waiting for something to happen. They were in the middle of an open field, and it was if a spotlight had been trained on them. Suddenly, with out warning the Wraith Dart whizzed past our heads and the beam was coming straight for us now. Without warning, Todd grabbed me and pushed the both of us away from the beam. The other four were Genii soldiers chasing us all night long. We heard them scream and they were gone in a flash. The Dart sailed off into the night. I could hear my heart pound fast in my ears. "Are you alright," I hear Todd, whispering in my ear. "Yes, I'm fine Todd." I gasped for air now. Both of us looked around, for any more incoming Wraith Darts. It seems that coast is clear, for now. I felt Todd hug me now, which was odd for a moment. Then he kissed me, on the lips. I felt shocked now, from what Todd was doing. After his lips left mine now, I felt happy now. My face blushed bright red and Todd's lips curled into a smile. "Come on, let's get out of here, before any more Genii soldiers come for us tonight." I nodded and still blushed. The both of us walked together in the forest all night long. When dawn came with a beautiful sunrise, the both of us kissed again, as the light danced upon our faces making us so happy with each other.
